Handm@de Fair Oxford

Hi All,

Well it's certainly getting busy now we are days away from Christmas. Shop Handmade UK was at the recent Handm@de Fair in Oxford and it was a great day. We met lots of lovely customers and many sellers we chat to online so it was great to met you all in real life. Here's a few pics from the day. A big thank you to Becci from Handm@de Fairs who organised a great event in a stunning venue. Over 1200 people attended which is amazing due to the weather and economy.

Handm@de Fair Oxford - 29th Nov

Hi All,

I've been really busy this past week getting the Competition Boxes & the Gift Boxes ready and looking beautiful for the Handm@de Fair in Oxford this Sunday 29th November. Shop Handmade UK is sharing with my jewellery store Mia Belle Jewellery so lots of display planning has been underway.

I'm really looking forward to this fair for a number of reasons. It's been a while since I've attended a fair and the Handm@de group of fairs are dedicated to handmade only goods, are always well organised and well attended. It will also be nice to get out away from the PC and meet other designers & makers IRL that I chat to via twitter or email.

So if you are in Oxford on the weekend or fancy a Sunday drive why not come and visit the fair. You can find full details including all the wonderful designers & makers who will be attending at the Handm@de Fairs website.

Gift Boxes Now On Sale!

Hi All,

Back again to let you know I am thrilled to have finally completed the Gift Boxes. I should clarify that these were called Sample Boxes which is fine but related to the old concept of a sample box. As these fabulous boxes do not have sample size goods but full size products and look gorgeous it seems appropriate to rename them Gift Boxes. There are a total of 15 boxes, all limited so don't delay as they will also be available for purchase at Oxford Handm@de Fair on Sunday 29th November.All goodies have been provided by 27 handmade designer / makers and each have offered their goods at a reduced prices allowing us to offer each box with a 45% discount which is a huge saving in these lean times. The Gift Boxes are a great idea for treating yourself, buying for someone a little fussy or split a box and create gifts for many. I've been a little absent for the past week as I've been madly photographing and listing the beautiful Gift Boxes but more on them in a bit. I have also managed, albeit somewhat delayed to list 36 new designer on the directory. That now takes our total to 1245 fabulous UK designer / makers listed. New Featured Designer - Hatastic
